There are three things I like very much about San Francisco buses:
1) People have a deep respect to leave the front seats vacant to seniors or people with disabilities. We often see people who prefer to stand and not to sit on these places even they’re vacant at that time.
2) There is a place for at least two people in wheelchairs, and an incredible logistics to make these people go up.
3) Very often the people who come down to their stop, thank the conductor, even if they are from the door at the bottom. To see that in a big city, is for me a beautiful thing, because we do not forget that the conductor has a great responsibility on his shoulders … he has also to manage some irresponsible skateboarders on the roads …
